Yara Shahidi to Receive WIF Max Mara Face of the Future Award – The Hollywood Reporter

Yara Shahidi has a date with Ladies in Movie.

The actress and activist, greatest often called the star of Black-ish and Grown-ish, has been chosen because the 18th recipient of the WIF Max Mara Face of the Future Award on the group’s WIF honors in Los Angeles on Nov. 30. Shahidi, 23, lately govt produced and starred in Amazon Studios’ Sitting in Bars with Cake. Her different credit embody the Apple TV+ sequence Extrapolations and Meta’s Yara Shahidi’s Day Off. She serves as govt producer and star of Freeform’s Grown-ish, which is in its sixth and closing season.

Offscreen, Shahidi, who graduated from Harvard College with a B.A. in social research and African American research, is a champion for inclusion and fairness.
